Del

As the most recent addition to the Tempest line up, the 26 year old Del has been brought in to provide a bit of much needed eye candy to appease the faithful onlookers.

He began his assault on the summit of Rockdom at the age of five and a half when he was chosen from almost two children to play the part of Third Child From The Left in a touring production of How Led Zeppelin Zeppled. Despite the somewhat curtailed run of nearly one show, it was clear that the young Del was destined for bigger and better things. It seems that the stage was in his blood...

Following child stardom, years of bad management, bad bands, and bad luck saw Del resort to joining the metal monsters that were Cardinal Sin with whom he recorded two albums of original material. The Sins’ intention to change the world was short-lived when the fat one announced his intention to move to Scotland. Unfortunately he didn’t but the band had died... Highlights of this time include playing the White Horse in High Wycombe with strippers as the opening act, and breaking down somewhere on a motorway somewhere. Heady days indeed.

Other projects followed that saw Del formulate his unique style of jumping around a lot in order to distract from the inadequacies that seemed to dog this incredible talent throughout his long and errr, long singing ‘career’.

Maybe now Del is able to say that he has a band that will be able to do justice to the sleeping giant that dwells within the sometimes shoddy husk of a man, and allow the Rock Star within to continue that assault on Rockdom. Or at least to set up a base camp.

Equipment: Del uses a mic and a mic stand. Although he has been known to dispense with the stand sometimes.
